Hidden Stories

HOBSONS BAY

Hidden Stories shares the tales of those who walked these streets before us.

The pioneers whose vision shaped our community, the migrants who crossed oceans seeking new opportunities, the hopeful fortune-seekers drawn by the gold rush, and those who arrived through circumstances beyond their control. Their courage, resilience and determination, together with the hardships and triumphs of life in the early colony, form the foundation of our shared history. By telling these stories, we ensure that the legacy of our past continues to inform, inspire and connect future generations.

What is a QR code?

A QR code (Quick Response) code is a type of a two-dimensional  barcode that stores data, such as website URLs, plain text, or contact information, within a grid of black and white squares. When scanned with a smartphone camera, the device instantly reads the encoded information and executes an action.
